ACCESS Health International Welcomes Maulik Chokshi as Health Systems Director

ACCESS Health International is delighted to announce the addition of Maulik Chokshi to our team. Mr. Chokshi will drive our health systems work in India and provide technical and programmatic leadership for our policy work.

Mr. Chokshi brings with him two decades worth of health experience. He spent eight highly regarded years with the Public Health Foundation of India, worked as an advisor to the global healthcare information company IMS Health, and consultant to many national and international agencies and development partners. He has worked extensively on policies and capacity building initiatives related to medicine procurement, pricing, immunization, maternal and child health, healthcare financing in an Indian setting.

His background spans a number of health areas and geographic regions. His experience includes work on noncommunicable diseases like diabetes and communicable diseases like tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS. Globally, he has worked on health systems in the Mekong region, sub Saharan Africa, and the Middle East.

Mr. Chokshi holds a Master’s degree in Health Policy Planning and Financing from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a diploma from theLondon School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He also holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from Maharaja Sayaji Rao University.
