First Joint Learning Network Costing Workshop Begins Today

The first Joint Learning Network Costing Collaborative train the trainer workshop on costing for provider payment began today in Bengaluru, India. Workshop participants will learn how to design and conduct a costing study themselves, as well as how to train practitioners in their home country to design and conduct their own costing studies. The workshop will introduce participants to the Joint Learning Network Provider Payment Costing Manual. The five day workshop was organized by ACCESS Health International, in partnership with Suvarna Arogya Surakha Trust and the Government of Karnataka, one of the Joint Learning Network Country Core Group representative states in India.

The Joint Learning Network Costing Collaborative addresses the needs for a shared understanding of how to gather, analyze, and update health services costing information for the specific purpose of health provider payment. This workshop is open to all Joint Learning Network member countries.
