Consultant, Field Officers (Lucknow)

ACCESS Health International is a not for profit think tank and advisory group with a mission to improve access to high quality and affordable healthcare. The Primary Healthcare Program at ACCESS Health is carried out in close collaboration with governments, development partners, and healthcare providers to improve the delivery, financing, and governance of primary healthcare services. ACCESS Health International seeks dynamic, entrepreneurial candidates with an interest in new approaches to primary healthcare delivery. ACCESS Health is leading the performance monitoring function for a primary healthcare initiative in Uttar Pradesh. The consultant will work as a Field Staff for this project, and will be part of the Primary Healthcare team at ACCESS Health.

Responsibilities

Data collection and review from the facilities and community through surveys.

Observe and coordinate closely with the health care providers to assess the quality care given by the health provider.

Conduct paper and computer/phone based interviews with the patients to get the insight of the treatment given by health provider.

Make documents, presentation and reports to support the state team.

Coordinate the Data entry personnel working at the facility level.

Skills Required

Working with the government/development agency in community level interventions and has good understanding of quality improvement processes.

Knowledge of conducting surveys and interviews with clinical providers and community members

Ability to travel extensively within the district.

Qualification and Experience

Masters in Social Work/Masters in Public Health or equivalent with minimum of 2 years of experience at field level, preferably in the development sector.

Fluency in written and spoken Hindi with knowledge of local dialects is desirable.

Should be self-motivated and creative with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Should be willing to be based within the selected blocks of Uttar Pradesh

Should be familiar with computer programs like Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Compensation

Salary offered will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
