Reporting Manager: Administrative Reporting to Program Director (Safe Care, Saving Lives Program) and Functional Reporting to Director Operations

About ACCESS Health International

ACCESS Health International is a nonprofit think tank and advisory group dedicated to improving access to high quality, affordable healthcare in low, middle, and high income countries. We advise national and regional governments and the private sector on the design and management of healthcare finance and delivery systems. Our team members reside in country. We establish long term relationships within each country to address both national and local healthcare needs. We identify and develop leaders in healthcare in the countries where we work.

Scope of Work

All of the work done by the Quality Lead will be focused within the activities of the Process and Quality Improvement team within the Safe Care, Saving Lives Program  at ACCESS Health International.

Key Responsibilities

Conceptualize, create, and manage operational integration of the program with the key project deliverables.

Create and drive review mechanisms within the project scope to drive result orientation, gap identification, and implementation focus.

Create a strategy for end to end delivery of project goals with input from the Program Lead and Monitoring and Evaluation Lead.

Analyzing improvement area in coordination with data analyst and ensure implementation.

Coordinate day to day with field teams for the adoption of potentially better practices.

Support field team in trouble shooting in coordination with concerned government/facility authority.

Review visit plan of the team and analyze productivity.

Conduct weekly/fortnightly/monthly review meetings to monitor progress.

Support the Program Director in all other operational maters.

Deliverables

Design and execute the operational strategy keeping in mind priority areas.

Measure, monitor and enhance productivity of team.

Institutionalize processes to ensure compliance with targets on a monthly basis.

Mentor the Safe Care, Saving Lives Project team in capacity building on implementation of Key Project Indicators (potentially better practices and data collection).

Guide the management and monitoring of the improvement measures, using performance dashboards, scorecards and checklists.

Where needed, interact with public, private sector hospitals and government policymakers, and multilateral international agencies to encourage inclusion of quality improvement as a priority in strategy and policy agenda.

Qualification

A Master’s Degree (Operations Management, General Management) is an added advantage.
