About ACCESS Health International

ACCESS Health International is a nonprofit think tank and advisory group dedicated to improving access to high quality, affordable healthcare in low, middle, and high income countries. We advise national and regional governments and the private sector on the design and management of healthcare finance and delivery systems. Our team members reside in country. We establish long term relationships within each country to address both national and local healthcare needs. We identify and develop leaders in healthcare in the countries where we work.

Scope of Work

All of the work done will be under the purview of the project. The goal of the project is to drive awareness and active support for quality maternal care in India among public and private healthcare insurers, maternal healthcare providers, policymakers in the state government, and central government. The partnership would build long term buy-in for quality initiatives: increasing the number of maternal healthcare providers providing quality care and seeking accreditation; ensuring that payers of health become active agents promoting quality maternal care; and embedding quality improvement in the maternal healthcare agenda at state and central level.

Key Responsibilities

Conceptualize, create, and manage operational integration and policy strategy of the program with the key project deliverables.


Drive impact of key result areas and be the face of the program to the funders and other partnering agencies

Manage budgets, reporting and review mechanisms for the program

Share the stories from existing Manyata enrolled facilities to stimulate interest in other private nursing homes about the program

Engage with Weber Shandwick and key government health officials and healthcare provider of quality improvement standards

Leverage existing Public Private Partnership forums to create awareness around Manyata and Utkrisht

Engage with NABH and or other certification bodies for accreditation of facilities certified under Manyata

Share with the key stakeholders for making best practices mandatory and linking it with Manyata and NABH certification

Desired experience

Experience of preparation of performance reports, working on similar projects which require collation of medical related data, churn out of useful information and promotion of the benefits and guidelines across private and public sector.

A strong consultative mindset to build and drive client engagement and relationships which involve governments and non government partners.
