About ACCESS Health International

ACCESS Health International is a nonprofit think tank and advisory group dedicated to improving access to high quality, affordable healthcare in low, middle, and high income countries. We advise national and regional governments and the private sector on the design and management of healthcare finance and delivery systems. Our team members reside in country. We establish long term relationships within each country to address both national and local healthcare needs. We identify and develop leaders in healthcare in the countries where we work.

Scope of Work

All of the work done will be under the purview of the project. The goal of the project is to drive awareness and active support for quality maternal care in India among public and private healthcare insurers, maternal healthcare providers, policymakers in the state government, and central government. The partnership would build long term buy-in for quality initiatives: increasing the number of maternal healthcare providers providing quality care and seeking accreditation; ensuring that payers of health become active agents promoting quality maternal care; and embedding quality improvement in the maternal healthcare agenda at state and central level.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expertise from a data and research perspective to the project to integrate the different partners and team members towards successful completion of the key deliverables.


Collection of the existing data from the respective authorities and check the quality of the data

Coordination with Rabin Martin for data analysis and compilation

In coordination with Weber Shandwick, explore feasibility of utilizing the Together for her health platform for measuring the patient feedback under the Lakshya program

Compilation of data on best practices in quality improvement from the collected data

Sorting and analysis of the data for documenting best practices required for giving quality maternal care

Desired experience

Experience of handling large projects with a performance review and monitoring focus.

Desired Skills

Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide reports.

Ability to create dashboards for performance review

Develop and implement databases.

Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
