ACCESS Health International is seeking dynamic, entrepreneurial candidates with an interest in new approaches to healthcare delivery to work on the Safe Care, Saving Lives project. The Quality Associates will be a part of the Quality and Process Improvement team at ACCESS Health. The positions will be based in various locations in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
ACCESS Health will invest in the selected candidate to be trained in quality and process improvement. The objective of this training is to complement the candidates’ existing clinical skills with the expertise needed to manage quality and process improvement work.
The successful candidates will have a strong interest in quality and process improvement.
Help with overall planning and implementation and scale the quality improvement activities within the Safe Care, Saving Lives project.
Understand workflows, relationships, partners, and culture to identify opportunities for and key drivers of improvement at the participating hospitals within the project.
Guide and mentor the hospital teams and other project staff in execution of the improvement activities on site.
Help the hospital teams to implement quality and process improvement strategies in association with the quality and process improvement leads, clinical leads, and other improvement associates at ACCESS Health International.
Help with the on site design, collection, and monitoring of the improvement measures, performance dashboards, scorecards and checklists that maybe used within the project.
Conduct qualitative assessment of the project by interacting with patients and staff at hospitals as and when required.
Assist in the documentation of all quality and process improvement activities, organization of trainings and workshops, and preparation of field activity reports.
Help with the analysis and dissemination of the information and insights from the quality and process improvement collaborative.
Qualification and Experience:
MBBS or postgraduate degree or diploma in Public Health, Hospital Administration, Management, or MBA in Healthcare or Health Policy Planning.
Prior experience in quality and process improvement work preferred.
Should have a strong interest in quality and process improvement.
Should be a team player.
Should be self motivated and be able to deliver results with minimal supervision.
Should be creative, innovative, and have excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, training, and cross cultural working skills.
Should be willing to travel within Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to support and coordinate quality and process improvement activities with the hospitals.
Familiarity with computer programs like Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to converse in Telugu, Hindi, and English.
