Mandatory Requirement: Should have knowledge of the existing Quality Assurance programs in India including NQAS, Kayakalp and Lakshya as well as knowledge of NABH accreditation systems.

Scope of Work
All of the work done by the consultant will be focused within the activities of the Process and Quality Improvement team at ACCESS Health International. Principal among the above will be the work within the Safe Care, Saving Lives project in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Associates will be responsible for the overall quality improvement activities ongoing at the hospital (such as Quality Improvement teams, data, or the initiation or running of the Plan Do Study Act cycle). They will spend at least seventy percent of their time (at least 10 to 15 days) in the field to:
Support hospital teams to implement quality and process improvement strategies in association with the senior associates, quality leads, and clinical leads, including, but not limited to
Develop and test change ideas.
Help assign the roles and responsibilities of the hospital team members to ensure regular collection of process and outcome data.
Document of learning achieved in each improvement cycle through plan do study act forms and other quality improvement tools specified by the experts.
data collection, entry and analyze the data and developing change ideas for the quality improvement activities.
implement of each potential better practice at each hospital closely with support from senior associates and quality leads.
identify and mentor quality champions at the level of the individual departments, hospital and at the district level.
Support Senior Associate or Quality Lead:
in strategizing any clinical requirements, be it capacity or training gaps, subject knowledge expertise and clinical protocols and address it with the help of the clinical leads, and available experts.
in facilitating the hospital to fulfil the infrastructure, equipment and human resource gaps(better utilization of RKS/HDS, etc.)
in crafting a visibility and sustainability strategy in the district and in District engagements – meeting with the District Collector, DMHO, and DCHS etc.
in the documentation of all quality and process improvement activities, organization of trainings/workshops and preparation of field activity reports, success stories, blogs etc.
Ensure that all the project monitoring and timely reporting requirements (like process data, outcome data, visit notes, agenda, weekly updates etc.) are met.
To build rapport with the hospital team and carry out will building activities with the hospital teams.
Conduct qualitative assessment of the program, by interacting with patients/staff at hospitals as and when required.
Any other work as assigned by the Project Manager.
