Quality Lead (Hyderabad)

ACCESS Health International is seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial candidate with an interest in new approaches to healthcare delivery to work on the Safe Care, Saving Lives project. The Quality Lead will be a part of the Quality and Process Improvement team at ACCESS Health. The position will be based in Hyderabad.

ACCESS Health will invest in the selected candidate to be trained in quality and process improvement. The objective of this training is to complement the candidate’s existing clinical skills with the expertise needed to manage quality and process improvement work.

The successful candidate will have a strong interest in quality and process improvement.

Responsibilities:

Provide overall planning, implementation, and strategic technical inputs to scale the quality improvement activities within the Safe Care, Saving Lives project.

Analyze systems and processes to understand workflows, relationships, and culture to identify opportunities for improvements and key drivers for improvement at the participating hospitals within the project.

Guide and mentor the hospital teams and other project staff in execution of the improvement activities on site.

Help the hospital teams to implement quality and process improvement strategies in association with other quality and process improvement leads at ACCESS Health International.

Help with the management and monitoring of the improvement measures, performance dashboards, scorecards, and checklists that maybe used within the program.

Help the hospitals with the assessment of their activities and provide assistance for quality audits.

Help with the analysis and dissemination of the information and insights from the quality and process improvement collaborative.

Interact with public and private sector hospitals, government policymakers, and multilateral international agencies to encourage inclusion of quality improvement as a priority in the strategic and policy agenda.

Qualification and Experience:

MBBS or postgraduate degree or diploma in Public Health, Hospital Administration, Management, or MBA in Healthcare or Health Policy Planning.

Prior experience in quality and process improvement work preferred.

Desired Attributes:

Should have a strong interest in quality and process improvement.

Should be a team player.

Should be self motivated and be able to deliver results with minimal supervision.

Should be creative, innovative, and have excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, training, and cross cultural working skills.

Should be willing to travel within Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to support and coordinate quality and process improvement activities with the hospitals.

Familiarity with computer programs like Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Ability to converse in Telugu, Hindi, and English.

Compensation:

Salary offered will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
