ACCESS Health is currently undertaking a study of how Singapore plans for the healthcare needs of the future. A national effort is underway to address the finance, transportation, housing, information technology infrastructure, education, and healthcare delivery needs of the future to ensure that the elderly and chronically ill receive high quality, cost effective healthcare. This work will be summarized in the book A City for All Ages: Health as an Organizing Principle for Metropolitan Transformation: The Singapore Example.
