eHomecare is a new concept in elder care in Sweden. Västerås Municipality is a pioneer in this area. General eHomecare services include day and night supervision, social interaction, reminders, and response to alarms. eHomecare providers must customize their services further, based on the needs of the individual. The elderly in Västerås have responded positively to eHomecare that has been customized to their needs. In this interview, Sofia Widén speaks with Åsa Löwing about the development and introduction of eHomecare services in Västerås.

This interview is part of the Elder Care Case Studies project.
