Use of Standardized Patients to Assess Quality of Tuberculosis Care: A Pilot, Cross Sectional Study

This study, published in The Lancet, tested the use of standardized patients to assess quality of care from tuberculosis providers in Delhi, India. The study found that standardized patients can be successfully implemented to assess tuberculosis care. The data from this study suggest a big gap between private provider knowledge and practice.
