Workshop on Newborn Care on Nov 17-18, The New Indian Express

HYDERABAD: A team of expert doctors will guide the hospitals identified by Aarogyasri Health Care Trust to bring down the neonatal and perinatal mortality rate, on implementing changes on how to provide reliable newborn care at a workshop to be held in the city on November 17 and 18.

Aarogyasri Health Care Trust, along with ACCESS Health International and  Children’s Investment Fund Foundation launched the Safe Care, Saving Lives project in AP and TS in August to reduce neonatal and perinatal morbidity and mortality across both private and public hospitals empanelled under the Aarogyasri Health Care Trust in the two states. The workshop will be inaugurated by Aarogyasri Health Care Trust chief executive officer K Dhananjaya Reddy. ACCESS Health International MD Sofi Bergkvist, representatives of Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, officials of the Departments of Health and Family Welfare, and other officials of both states will attend.
