Contract duration: 1 year with a possibility of another one year extension

ACCESS Health is an international non profit think tank, advisory group, and knowledge and implementation partner, dedicated to improving access to high quality, affordable healthcare in low, middle, and high income countries. ACCESS Health advises government, industry, and healthcare sectors on the design and management of healthcare finance and delivery systems. ACCESS Health fosters innovation ecosystems and establishes long term relationships across countries to address both national and local healthcare needs.

The world is experiencing a tremendous demographic shift. Thanks to rapid economic growth, technological advancements, and improved standards of living, people are living longer and better than ever before. Demand for high quality and affordable healthcare is growing significantly yet remains out of reach for many. Meanwhile, there is increasing interest in innovation that reaches across sectors, taking inspiration from the unlikeliest of places.

The ACCESS Health Futures network offers an ecosystem and channel for open innovation. We are bringing together people and partners from across industries and regions to envision healthcare of the future — one that is patient centered, high quality, affordable, and accessible. The Health Futures network consists of healthcare providers, payers, multinational corporations, start ups, government agencies, development organizations, investors and academic institutions based primarily in Asia including in Singapore, China and India. We also conduct research and provide consulting services to industry and government partners on projects in the area of health systems transformation.

Scope of Work – Singapore:

Manage consulting and research projects relevant to health service model transformation, health technology innovations, and health financing innovations.

Help co develop the consultancy strategy, framework, and pipeline for ACCESS Health in Singapore.

Together with other consulting team members, develop proposals for potential projects at the regional level.

Monitor the regional healthcare environment closely on an ongoing basis and identify trends and emerging business opportunities on a proactive basis. Be seen as a thought leader in the healthcare and health policy ecosystem.

Participate in manage external relations with governments, private sector, donors, and civil society partners and proactively collaborate with other ACCESS Health International Country Leaders to support knowledge sharing across programs.

We need a minimum 5 – 7 years of experience for this role with a strong technical background.  The incumbent should have worked around strategy development, proposal development, high level of networking with a strong communication skill, good leadership skills and the ability to work effectively across teams with excellent multi-tasking skills.

Reporting Structure:

Based in Singapore, the consultant will report to the Country Director for Singapore, with escalation to the Managing Director for Singapore, Mainland China, and Hong Kong.
