Amara Thomas is a science writer and archivist. At ACCESS Health International, she dedicates her time to researching and sharing the latest advances in cancer care, with a particular focus on novel immunotherapies such CART therapy and checkpoint inhibitors. She cultivated her love to communicate complex topics at New York University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies while studying Chemistry. Her diverse interests often lead her to examine the evolving intersections of culture, health, and social equity during her free time.
