JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overall responsible for the Operations and Strategic Growth of the South Asia region along with strong linkages to the Middle East. The position will be responsible for development of market development in health systems in the areas of public and private healthcare through various stakeholders in the ecosystem through networking, quality proposal development, stakeholder engagement, opportunity identification, partnership & alliances development, bids, donor management, and revenue generation. Effective collaboration globally will be required to build the partner portfolio. The position will also be responsible for the overall management of the work through operations, technical and administrative management of the South Asia region with guidance from the Director, Operations and Strategic Growth.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify business opportunities and obtain accounts through the channels of networking, proposals, bids, partnership, donor management, and other channels across the spectrum in the South Asia region.
  • Act as the primary liaison with partners, managing and developing strategic client relationships, addressing service needs, requests, and issues, while ensuring the highest quality partner work and inspiring, leading, and developing new consultants.
  • Responsible for revenue generation in line with agreed targets for the South Asia region.
  • Oversee program delivery and execution of partner initiatives and contracts.
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement strategies, initiatives, and solutions to enhance the current business model and meet objectives.
  • Conceptualize and strategize the grant proposals, assisting with bid management and contract development.
  • Review financial proposals in bids, RFPs, projects, and initiatives, and oversee their execution.
  • Develop annual budgets, and operating plans and maintain profitability as per planned goal setting/objectives.
  • Advising and collaborating with the other members of the South Asia region, and addressing any problem areas.
  • Act as a domain expert in the health systems area of consulting in public and private healthcare bringing the expertise to the South Asian Region in the potential thematic areas of private healthcare covering cancer care, screening programs, health systems policy and research, Health Insurance, Digital Health Solutions, Quality, Health Financing, Service Delivery, Revenue Cycle Management, Capacity Building, Human Resources, Product Development etc. Preferable with multiple experiences in the above stated thematic areas.
  • To enable and work very closely in building relationships and partnerships with key institutions, donors, Life sciences, private healthcare, and country-level stakeholders
  • Build and implement the marketing, market access, and communications plan for the African region and brand building across the region.
  • Organize roundtables and workshops to bring industry insights and represent the organization as and when required.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualifications

MBA in health management or a related discipline preferred. Relevant qualification in general administration required

Experience

10 – 15 years of senior management experience in public health and the private healthcare sector.  Senior-level experience in revenue generation and donor management.

NATURE OF EMPLOYMENT:

The selected candidate shall be offered a one-year contract, with the possibility of extension, based on continued availability of funding and performance.

GRADE LEVEL: L3
