Chang Liu, PhD, is responsible for our health and aging innovation platforms and leads research and consulting work in the region. Chang has a held teaching positions at Duke-NUS, the National University of Singapore Enterprise, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has authored a number of publications, including the Singapore overview for the International Profiles of Health Care Systems published by The Commonwealth Fund and London School of Economics.

Krishna Reddy

Country Director, India
Krishna Reddy, MD, is responsible for the overall development, management, and leadership of the activities of ACCESS Health in India. Krishna is a board certified cardiologist with a long and distinguished career, marked by his leadership of the CARE Hospital Group which he helped create. The hospital group is now recognized as the most advanced, complete cardiac care center in the country. The hospitals have become models for patient satisfaction and innovation.

Biswajeet Chatterjee has more than thirty years of industry experience including implementation of best practices in finance, corporate governance, merger and acquisitions, business valuation, business restructuring, and change management. Previously, he worked with global businesses including BOC Gases, EI DuPont, Kelly Services and Mother Dairy Group. He is also the author of several books in contemporary business and finance.

Dr. Pankaj Gupta is responsible for digital health across all programs and activities in India. His responsibilities include the establishment of digital health partnerships with government and the public and private sectors, as well as with research and development organizations. Dr. Gupta has worked for more than two decades in the healthcare and pharmaceutical technology field and has held leadership roles in Asia, the United States, and Canada. For his work, he was awarded the Top 50 Smart Healthcare Leaders Award and the Asia Inc. 500 Pharma Digital Transformation Award.

Maulik Chokshi

Director, Health Systems
Maulik Chokshi drives our health systems work in India and provides technical and programmatic leadership for our policy work. Maulik brings with him two decades worth of health experience. He spent eight highly regarded years with the Public Health Foundation of India, worked as an advisor to the global healthcare information company IMS Health, and consultant to many national and international agencies and development partners. He has worked extensively on policies and capacity building initiatives related to medicine procurement, pricing, immunization, maternal and child health, healthcare financing in an Indian setting.

Dr. Uma Aysola heads up alliances and partnerships at ACCESS Health India and is responsible for networking and relationship management with key government and corporate sector clients. As part of her role, she engages with state governments, pharmaceutical industries, multinational companies, and technical institutions to mobilize investments and action towards ACCESS Health’s overall vision.

Jaidev Singh Anand works on the Health Financing Support Program as Senior Technical Specialist. Jaidev supports the development of a health financing strategy that will meet the needs of government, public, private, and academic partners. Before joining ACCESS Health International, he worked with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Krishan Bhardwaj works with the ACCESS Health India digital health team and is responsible for our work on the design of an integrated health insurance platform for universal health coverage and developing a health data dictionary and national registries for the India Health domain.

Manisha Tripathi is a consultant on the Primary Care Pilot Program in Uttar Pradesh, helping with the design and development of tender documents and as a tenders liaison to government and private sector partners. Manisha has more than twelve years of experience in public health, having worked in India with both Population Services International and Family Health International 360.

Sanjeev Kumar works on the Safe Care, Saving Lives project as Quality Lead. Prior to joining ACCESS Health, he was with the World Health Organization and a Tropical Disease Research Fellow at the James P. Grant School of Public Health in Dhaka Bangladesh. Before the fellowship, he worked with the Saving New born Lives Alliance-Save the Children, India as an Innovation Coordinator based in Bihar, where he looked for Implementation Research on Gentamycin-PSBI Management Rollout and Chlorohexidine-Cord care.

Anuradha works is a lead researcher with ACCESS Health India. She brings more than seven years of experience in public health research, implementation support, and knowledge management. Anuradha has worked with experienced teams on conceptualizing and conducting both secondary and primary research, including household surveys, facility assessments, focus group discussions, and qualitative interviews. She has also authored several blogs and opinion pieces.

Arun B Nair works with the ACCESS Health India team on health financing and systems research. Arun began his career with the National Health Systems Resource Center, New Delhi as a Health Finance Consultant and was involved in technical support for the implementation of health financing programs under the National Rural Health Mission. He later worked with the Institute of Public Health, Bangalore as a faculty member in Health Economics and Financing. He was Deputy Director Research of the State Health Systems Resource Center, Kerala prior to joining the ACCESS Health India team. Currently, he is a member of committee on costing of health services of Government of Kerala.

Himani Sethi leads the health systems capacity building work for ACCESS Health International. Her responsibilities include state engagement, expansion and, establishment of programs and collaborations with governments and external organizations for health systems strengthening.

Himani has eighteen years of experience in public health in several high priority Indian states with leading policy making institutions, international foundations and private sector ecosystem.

Amit Srivastava is a Senior Digital Health Specialist with ACCESS Health International, with a focus on insurance issues. Prior to joining ACCESS Health, he worked in organizations like ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Lombard and Fino Paytech Limited. He has thirteen years of extensive experience in several health programs like Rastriya Swasthya Bima Yojna, Artisans and Weavers policy and UIDAI-Aadhaar. He Holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Lucknow University.

Tushar Mokashi supports the overall healthcare financing and research work at Access Health International. He was previously associated with the healthcare financing team at National Health Systems Resource Centre, New Delhi for eight years providing continuous technical support on Healthcare Financing issues to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, State Departments of Health and Family Welfare, NITI Ayog, Finance Commission, Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation and other government institutions across the country.

Dr. Dhananjaya is a Bachelor in Dentistry and has over 10 years of experience in medical practices, working with private third party insurance agencies and then with Government. Prior to joining ACCESS Health, He was working as Deputy Director at Suvarna, Arogya Suraksha Trust(SAST) a state health agency implementing Health assurance schemes in Karnataka.

Sejal Mistry leads projects in innovative health financing, digital technology, and aging in Singapore and the broader Southeast Asia region. Sejal has over ten years experience in international health policy, health financing, and HIV/AIDS. Previously, she worked with the South Korean Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service and as a senior health policy and multilateral affairs advisor for the US Government with several agencies including the US State Department, US Health and Human Services, and the US National Institutes of Health.

Adrienne Mendenhall builds innovative partnerships across public and private sectors that result in new healthcare and aged care models. Adrienne developed the Modern Aging program in Singapore and continues to manage key accounts for the team. Previously, Adrienne worked with the National University of Singapore Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and, in the US, worked in community health promotion, focusing on reproductive and adolescent health and the prevention and management of noncommunicable chronic diseases.

Valerie holds a Master of Public Health degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Country Director, Philippines
Don Eliseo Lucero-Prisno III, MD, leads our Philippines country program, working closely with both public and private sector partners. He was Associate Professor of Public Health at the Department of Public Health of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). He remains a member of the academic faculty of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Don is the Founder and Managing Director of Global Health Focus and is Managing Editor of the BMC Global Health Research and Policy Journal.

Olan Junio manages the overall budgeting, coordination, and administrative work in both local and global initiatives led by ACCESS Health Philippines. He has been part of the team in developing an omnibus policy for issuances related to the management of the Department of Health hospitals. He holds a degree in Public Administration at the University of the Philippines Diliman and will pursue his graduate studies at the School of Urban and Regional Planning in the same academic institution.

Shortly before joining ACCESS Health Philippines, he spent three years at the academe providing teaching support for courses in research and public health field practice; and technical support for the Statistical and Research Design Consulting Services of the College of Public Health, University of the Philippines Manila.

Danika Bardelosa is a public health researcher whose role in ACCESS Health Philippines is to provide technical assistance. This includes development of proposals and technical reports, data collection, processing and analysis for projects implemented by the organization. She has been involved in a number of projects such the assessment of hospital corporatization in the Philippines, development of omnibus policies for health facility regulation, development of appropriate compensation mechanisms for frontline health workers, service delivery networks, and hospital performance management.

Cara works on a project evaluating the effects of corporatization on public hospitals in the Philippines. Prior to joining ACCESS Health, Cara worked with the World Health Organization to organize and communicate with international medical field teams in response to Typhoon Haiyan. She also worked with the World Health Organization to produce Western Pacific Regional data evaluating health equity and right to health. Cara also has experience working with the University Health Network in Toronto in a clinical and research capacity pertaining to surgical and patient outcomes for oncology patients.

Ida Marie Pantig is part of the project on the effects of corporatization in government hospitals in the Philippines. She is also a Research Associate at the Philippine Institute for Development Studies where she has done work on various Philippine health systems issues such as health financing and health resources. She recently concluded a study on capital investments in Philippine hospitals and health centers. She was a senior lecturer at the Department of Social Sciences of the University of the Philippines Manila.

He has performed an assessment of Department of Health Licensed Hospitals in terms of access and quality of care using annual hospital statistical reports from 2011 to 2016.

She has previously worked with various public health research institutions in the fields of evidence synthesis and health policy research, and has been involved in the development of the action plans for the prevention and control of antimicrobial resistance for the Philippines and the ASEAN.

Chair and President
William A. Haseltine, PhD, has an active career in science, business, and philanthropy. He is known for his pioneering work on cancer, HIV/AIDS, and genomics. He was a professor at Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Public Health and founder of its Division of Biochemical Pharmacology and Division of Human Retrovirology. He has founded twelve biotechnology companies, including Human Genome Sciences, and is the author of several books.

She also served as Vice President at Corkery Unlimited, one of the leading strategic consulting firms specializing in health and medical communications, and Deputy Director of Communications for the global health organization Population Services International.

Prior to ACCESS Health, she was the Executive Grants and Operations Assistant at Jessie Smith Noyes Foundation, one of the earliest foundations who support people-powered organizations participating in the intersecting movements across the U.S.
