JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking an experienced Digital Health Consultant to represent our team in the MENA region, acting as the front-facing expert for our digital health products and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for client engagement, market assessment, and proposal development, ensuring successful positioning of our product and services across hospitals, healthcare providers, and government agencies.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage new business development initiatives in the MENA region, identifying key market opportunities.
- Establish and nurture relationships with healthcare providers, payers, technology vendors, and government bodies.
- Develop and execute market entry strategies for new healthcare digital products and services.
- Identify partnership and collaboration opportunities to expand service offerings and strengthen regional presence.
- Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
- Act as the primary point of contact for existing and potential clients, ensuring strong engagement and satisfaction.
- Conduct in-depth needs assessments with healthcare organizations to understand pain points and digital transformation goals.
- Build long-term relationships with C-level executives, hospital administrators, and healthcare IT leaders to drive trust and business growth.
- Develop and manage client success strategies, ensuring high adoption and retention of digital health solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on digital transformation strategies, healthcare IT implementations, and technology adoption.
- Assess and refine digital workflows for hospitals, insurers, and public health systems, ensuring seamless technology integration.
- Advise on interoperability, data standardization, and compliance with regional and international standards (FHIR, HL7, HIPAA, GDPR, ABDM, GCC health regulations).
- Guide clients on AI, data analytics, telehealth, remote patient monitoring (RPM), and cloud-based health solutions.
- Lead the design and execution of pilot projects and proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements with healthcare providers.
- Lead the preparation of proposals, RFP responses, business presentations, and investment cases.
- Develop cost-benefit analyses, ROI models, and pricing strategies to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor product offerings and services to specific regional needs.
- Negotiate and structure business deals with clients and stakeholders.
- Work closely with the product, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure seamless implementation of digital health solutions.
- Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Support internal teams in scaling operations, refining go-to-market strategies, and optimizing customer success frameworks.
- Ensure effective communication between business, technical, and implementation teams to align client expectations with delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong understanding of EHR, HIS, RCM, Telemedicine, AI in healthcare, and cloud-based health IT solutions.
- Familiarity with MENA/GCC healthcare regulations (DHA, HAAD, MOH, GDPR, HIPAA, HL7/FHIR interoperability).
- Proven track record in leading healthcare digital transformation initiatives, ensuring interoperability and compliance with IT governance frameworks.
- Experience in evaluating and implementing innovative digital health solutions tailored to regional needs.
- Prior experience in healthcare markets within Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, or Egypt is preferred, with a deep understanding of local healthcare systems and stakeholders.
- Bilingual candidates (English + Arabic) are highly desirable, facilitating effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven experience in client-facing roles, consulting, or business development within healthcare IT, with a strong ability to assess digital health needs and translate them into actionable proposals.
- Expertise in writing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), drafting proposals, and creating compelling pitch decks that resonate with clients.
- Ability to engage effectively with C-level executives, hospital administrators, and technology leaders, fostering strong relationships and trust.
- Strong negotiation skills, stakeholder management capabilities, and experience in public speaking to represent the organization at various forums.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess market trends, regulatory challenges, and healthcare needs, enabling the formulation of strategic recommendations.
- Capacity to develop cost-benefit analyses and ROI justifications for proposed solutions.
- Exceptional technical writing and documentation skills, ensuring clarity and precision in all communications and reports.
- Ability to produce market intelligence reports, competitor analyses, and strategic insights that inform decision-making.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product development, implementation, and delivery teams, to align client expectations with execution.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing projects and driving initiatives to successful completion.
Nature of Employment:
The selected candidate will be offered a one-year contract.
