ACCESS Health International Participates in PHDC’25 in Cairo

ACCESS Health International participated in the Global Congress on Population, Health and Human Development (PHDC’25), held in Cairo under the patronage of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The congress convened global leaders, government representatives, development partners, researchers, and private-sector innovators to advance a shared vision for integrated human development.

PHDC’25 served as a significant platform to highlight Egypt’s leadership in shaping cohesive strategies across population, health, education, and social protection. The themes of the congress closely align with ACCESS Health’s ongoing work across Africa and the Middle East, particularly in universal health coverage, digital health transformation, AI-enabled systems, human capital development, youth empowerment, gender equity, and population resilience in the context of mobility and environmental change.

Throughout the event, ACCESS Health engaged with key partners and stakeholders to explore collaborative opportunities in areas such as digital claims transformation, health systems strengthening, and the design of integrated models that connect service delivery with long-term human development outcomes. These discussions reinforced the importance of coordinated solutions that improve access, quality, and efficiency across sectors.

ACCESS Health extends its appreciation to the organizers of PHDC’25 for hosting an impactful and forward-looking convening. The congress offered an important opportunity to contribute to regional dialogue and advance collective efforts toward building resilient, equitable, and inclusive futures.
