From June 25-27 in Cairo, Egypt, ACCESS Health International served as a Strategic Partner at Africa Health ExCon 2025 – one of the continent’s premier platforms for healthcare innovation and policy dialogue. Our participation underscored a commitment to strengthening health systems through cross‑regional collaboration and meaningful partnerships.
Empowering Regional Representation
As a Strategic Partner, ACCESS Health International:
- Invited South Asian and MENA exhibitors to showcase pioneering solutions;
- Encouraged South–South collaboration to tackle shared challenges;
- Elevated the profile of regional innovations on Africa’s largest healthcare stage.
Highlights from the Conference
On Day One, our focus was on leadership and resilience. Dr. Hala Zaid, Regional Director – MENA; Global Director – International Health Affairs, spoke on “Empowered & Leading: Catalyzing Women in Healthcare Leadership,” underscoring the urgent need for gender equity in decision‑making. Virtually, Dr. N. Krishna Reddy, our CEO, joined the discussion “Resilient Health Systems,” advocating for adaptable, inclusive models that prioritize vulnerable populations.
The second day centered on stakeholder engagement. Our team held strategic meetings with public‑ and private‑sector partners, and representatives from international agencies, to explore partnerships in digital health, systems strengthening, life sciences, and innovation‑driven programming.
By Day Three, the spotlight turned to emerging technologies. In an Egyptian Healthcare Authority-hosted session on “AI in Healthcare,” Dr. Zaid and Dr. Reddy addressed ethical considerations, data privacy, and equitable access while mapping out practical steps to scale AI solutions responsibly across Africa and the MENA region.
Beyond the Exhibition
After ExCon, we visited the Embassy of India in Cairo to discuss leveraging India’s healthcare innovations alongside Egypt’s strategic positioning. These conversations reinforced our role as a bridge between regions, creating opportunities to transform health outcomes through deeper cooperation.
Looking Ahead
Africa Health ExCon 2025 was more than an exhibition: it was a catalyst for new collaborations and a testament to the power of partnership. We extend our thanks to everyone who joined us and look forward to turning these discussions into action.
