ACCESS Health participates in a panel discussion on Emerging Technologies for Sustainable Growth

Dr. Anuradha Katyal, Technical Head (Research & Analytics) participated in the International Conference of Emerging Technologies, Analysis, and Operations at the ICFAI Business School on the panel on “Navigating the Future of Operations Management: Harnessing Emerging Technologies and Analytics for Sustainable and Ethical Growth”

The panel discussed challenges like lack of data awareness, the need for new skills, sustainability, and ethical considerations in the use of Data. The panel discussed health systems strengthening, the use of data in Fintech, in the airline industry, in IT, and in ensuring food security. Dr. Anuradha spoke about challenges and opportunities in the public health space in India. She focussed on the disparate nature of data in the Indian public health systems and the visionary Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission which is envisioned to integrate them. She gave the example of the COWIN app and how the usage of data helped the country to maneuver through the tough times of COVID-19. She also spoke about career opportunities in public health for management students

Along with Anuradha panelists included Saumya Agrawal from Accenture, Suryanarayana Ambatipudi from Tide (financial services), and Lohithaksha Maiyar from IIT Hyderabad. The session was moderated by Prof Sanjay Fuloria, Professor and Director Center for Distance and Online Education, ICFAI FOUNDATION FOR HIGHER EDUCATION (deemed to be a University)
