ACCESS Health actively participated at the 68th Annual National Conference of the Indian Public Health Association which was based on the theme “Harnessing Digital Health for Public Health Advancements: Transforming Healthcare Delivery and Research”. Dr.Shrikant Kalaskar, Technical Head, Public Health & Capacity Building, presented our ongoing work under the thematic area of disease surveillance of Global Learning Collaborative for Health Systems Resilience (GLC4HSR).

His talk, titled “Systematic Review on Existing Surveillance Systems Assessment Approaches” was well received and appreciated by the chairs of the session and audience. It was an opportunity for Dr. Shrikant to interact with experts and young researchers working on surveillance systems assessment and learn from their valuable feedback.

Dr. Shweta Singh, Senior Technical Specialist (Research And Public Health), delivered an insightful oral presentation on “Exploring Behavioural Dynamics for NCDs”. Her presentation delved deep into the realm of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), uncovering the intricate behavioral dynamics that influence their health-seeking behavior. She brought out qualitative strategies for understanding and addressing these critical health challenges. The jury appreciated the use of a qualitative research approach in this area of inquiry.
