Universal health coverage is no longer just about access, it’s about outcomes, value, and accountability. On the 7th anniversary of Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY in Uttar Pradesh, ACCESS Health International, as technical partner to SACHIS (state health agency implementing the scheme) supported the launch of three citizen-first digital innovations:
- Ayushman Sampark: 24×7 helpline, that will now provide hospital appointment booking to PM-JAY citizens in select PM-JAY empanelled hospitals
- Ayushman Sarathi: mobile app to locate empanelled hospitals with ease
- Ayushi: AI chatbot for instant, round-the-clock beneficiary support
New educational resources, handbooks, digital e-books, and comic books – were also introduced to empower frontline workers and strengthen awareness at the community level.
