ACCESS Health to have significant representation at the 8th Global Symposium on Health Systems Research

Nine abstracts submitted by colleagues at ACCESS Health International have been selected for presentation at the prestigious Global Symposium on Health Systems Research (HSR2024) organized by Health Systems Global. It will be held in Nagasaki, Japan between 18-22 November 2024.

In addition to the abstracts, Iman F. Hameed will represent ACCESS Health to co-host a half- day Capacity Building Session with HPSR and HSG. The session is titled, “Bridging the Gap: Strengthening Evidence Translation Frameworks for Sustainable and Locally Informed Health Policies.”

The 8th Global Symposium on Health Systems Research will focus on the theme of Building Just and Sustainable Health Systems Centering People and Protecting the Planet. The acceptance of ACCESS Health’s work at the Symposium highlights the impactful research our team is conducting in the field of health systems.

The nine selected abstracts are:

“Exploring Normative Costing for Primary Healthcare in Indian Settings: A Governance Perspective” by Tushar Mokashi with co-authors Oshia Garg, Rajeev Prasad, Arun B Nair, Maulik Chokshi. (Selected for Oral Presentation.)

“Development of a Toolkit to Measure Health Systems Resilience – Application of a Modified Delphi Method” by Dr. Anuradha Katyal with co-authors Sushma Dsouza, Dr. Shrikant Kalaskar, Latika Rewaria, Dr. Mehnaz Kabeer, Sreemeena Satyanarayana, Dr. Krishna Reddy, and Maulik Chokshi.
