Dr. Hala Zaid, our Global Director of International Health Affairs and Regional Director – MENA, has been honored by the Enty El Aham initiative. Founded by the Misr Foundation for Health and Sustainable Development in October 2016, this program celebrates individuals who have made outstanding contributions to advancing women’s health and promoting the early detection of chronic diseases across Egypt.
The Enty El Aham Initiative: A Catalyst for Change
Since its inception, Enty El Aham has worked tirelessly to raise awareness about women’s health issues, championing preventive screening and inclusive health education. By partnering with local communities, healthcare providers, and civil society organizations, the initiative seeks to dismantle barriers that prevent women from accessing essential health services. Its multifaceted approach includes public awareness campaigns, capacity‑building workshops for healthcare professionals, and the development of culturally sensitive educational materials.
Dr. Zaid’s illustrious career exemplifies her dedication to creating equitable and resilient health systems. Over the years, she has advocated for policies that prioritize preventive care, particularly for women at risk of chronic conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and certain cancers. Under her leadership, ACCESS Health International has piloted several community‑based screening programs in the MENA region, empowering women with timely information and facilitating early interventions that save lives.
Strengthening Public Health Infrastructure
At ACCESS Health International, we believe that strong leadership is essential to building sustainable health systems. Dr. Zaid’s recognition by Enty El Aham underscores the impact of collaborative efforts between international organizations, local stakeholders, and dedicated health professionals. Her work continues to inspire our teams as we expand partnerships, refine screening protocols, and advocate for policies that ensure all women have access to high‑quality preventive services.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Dr. Hala Zaid on this well‑deserved honor. Together, we will continue to build healthier, more equitable communities – one screening, one policy, and one empowered woman at a time.
