Dr. Krishna Reddy named to U.S. Pharmacopeia’s Board of Trustees

Dr. Krishna Reddy Nallamalla, Regional Director of ACCESS Health International (South Asia) and President of the InOrder Institute, was appointed as a member of the Board of Trustees of the U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) earlier this year. The appointment is for a period of five years.

USP is an independent scientific organization that collaborates with the world’s top experts in health and science to develop quality standards for medicines, dietary supplements, and food ingredients. Through its standards, advocacy, and education, USP helps increase the availability of quality medicines, supplements, and food for billions of people worldwide.

The members of USP’s Board of Trustees are elected by USP Convention Members, a diverse group of 493 leading health and science organizations from around the world. Comprised of distinguished leaders from the medical, pharmacy, regulatory, patient advocacy, and healthcare provider communities, USP’s Board provides oversight of the organization’s finances and strategic direction through its five-year cycles.

Along with Dr. Reddy, Laura Herman, and John Taylor as At-Large members to its Board of Trustees. Ms. Herman is Principal at Dalberg Advisor’s New York office, while Mr. Taylor is the President and Principal of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs at Greenleaf Health.
