Life expectancy of Hong Kong residents became one of the highest in the world in 2014. Families take the central responsibility of care for elderly relatives. However, the government of Hong Kong is launching an ambitious effort to build new care homes, subsidize elder care services, and improve the lives of the elderly.

This set of interviews contains analysis of the current state of elder care in Hong Kong. The first interview is with Irene Leung, Chief Executive Officer of The Senior Citizen Home Safety Association. The second interview is with Dr. Alfred Chan, Chairman of the Hong Kong Elderly Commission, and the third interview is with Patrick Cheung, founder of the Jade Club. Each institution provides elderly with innovative care services.
