Strengthening Partnerships and Health Systems at Africa Health ExCon 2026

ACCESS Health International participated in Africa Health ExCon 2026 in Cairo, Egypt, one of the continent’s leading healthcare gatherings. Held between the 15th and 18th of June under the theme “Health Sovereignty in Africa: Leadership, Resilience, and Self-Reliance,” the event convened healthcare leaders, policymakers, innovators, investors, and industry stakeholders from across Africa and around the world to discuss the future of healthcare systems.

ACCESS Health International attended the event alongside its partner, MediLearning, engaging with healthcare executives, government representatives, technology innovators, and strategic stakeholders. The exhibition and conference provided valuable opportunities to exchange knowledge, explore partnerships, and discuss emerging priorities in healthcare across the region.

Throughout the event, the ACCESS Health team participated in discussions on health system transformation, healthcare workforce development, digital innovation, and cross-sector collaboration. These conversations reflected the growing commitment across Africa to strengthening health systems, expanding access to quality care, and developing sustainable solutions to current and future healthcare challenges.

A key highlight of the event was the opportunity to meet with Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, the Chairman of the Egyptian Health Authority (EHA). The interaction underscored the importance of partnership, innovation, and shared leadership in advancing national and regional healthcare priorities.

Participation in Africa Health ExCon 2026 reaffirmed the value of collaboration in building resilient health systems and accelerating progress across the healthcare ecosystem. ACCESS Health International looks forward to strengthening the relationships established during the event and continuing to support healthier communities across Africa and the Middle East.
