Oshia Garg is a sociologist at ACCESS Health International, supporting research, analysis, knowledge products, business development, health advocacy, capacity building, and stakeholder management. Her research interests include the sociology of health and medicine, the political economy of health, health policy and legislation, and health economics and financing. Previously, Oshia interned at NITI Aayog, working on senior care reforms, evaluating state progress in public health and management cadre reforms, contributing to occupational health and safety reforms, and supporting newspaper pieces on health financing and air pollution. Oshia holds a Master's degree in Sociology, a Bachelor's degree in Economics, and certifications in Health Economics, Health Financing Policy for Universal Health Coverage, and Public Policy. In her free time, she enjoys reading and writing poetry.
