Roshani is an experienced public health researcher, program manager, and grant writing expert with over a decade of experience in India. She currently leads the Care Coordination Project, which focuses on urban poor and tribal communities in the Mysuru district of Karnataka. Her expertise spans several critical areas, including family planning, maternal and child health, cancer screening, domestic violence, post-stroke rehabilitation, and virtual capacity building for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) using the ECHO platform. Notably, Roshani was part of the Virtual Cancer Screening Program at Indian Council for Medical Research-National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research (ICMR-NICPR), which was approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) for nationwide training and declared a ‘super hub’ for cancer screening training. Roshani is also a recent graduate of the Research Ethics master's program, a Fellowship offered by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), USA. She holds master’s degrees in Microbiology (Medical), Biotechnology, and Research Ethics. Previously, she served as a biomedical researcher in HIV/Neuro-AIDS research at both the Johns Hopkins Medical Institute (JHMI) and NIH, USA. In her free time, Roshani enjoys studying human culture through history, travel, world cinema, and food.
