Dr. S. Dhananjaya Naidu is a public health professional with over two decades of experience. As a member of the Health Systems Advisory and Capacity Building team, he leads state engagement with the Government of Karnataka and provides advisory support for health program implementation. A health financing expert, Dr. Naidu has worked in both public and private sectors, specializing in social health insurance schemes in India. At the National Health Authority, he contributed to policy changes for the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and led the team in updating health benefit packages. He also played a crucial role in converging health insurance schemes in Karnataka under a single umbrella, implementing the universal health coverage scheme 'Arogya Karnataka.' Dr. Naidu holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree and a postgraduate degree in health economics and policy from the Public Health Foundation of India. In his personal time, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
