Dr Shareef Muhammed

Project Officer

Dr. Shareef Muhammed is a public health professional supporting the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna (PMJAY) in Kerala as part of ACCESS Health International's Health Systems Advisory and Capacity Building team. He has experience as a District Technical Officer for Care India and a Programme Coordinator for a hospital chain in the United Arab Emirates. Dr. Shareef has contributed to the implementation of several central government quality improvement programs, including LaQshya, Kayakalp, and continuous quality improvement interventions in Bihar. He is knowledgeable in hospital revenue cycle management, process flows, strategy formulation, public health project management, health informatics, and hospital administration and revenue operations. Dr. Shareef holds a Master of Public Health in Health Policy, Economics, and Finance from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (in collaboration with the London School of Economics) and a Degree in Dental Surgery. In his free time, he enjoys creating travelogues and video content, as well as watching and reviewing movies.
