Uniting Forces to Combat Cardiovascular Disease

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of death in the Asia-Pacific, with over 10 million deaths in 2019 and significant economic costs. The APAC CVD Alliance is a regional multisectoral coalition focused on raising public and policy awareness of cardiovascular disease and its comorbidities in the Asia-Pacific. Established in 2022, it seeks to address specific gaps in CVD prevention and control and aims to inspire policy change across prevention, early detection, treatment, and rehabilitation. The Alliance connects patients, healthcare professionals, academia, nonprofits, media, and corporate partners to enhance cardiovascular health across the region.
