Traditional health systems often operate in silos, leading to interoperability issues. In response, India launched the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) in 2021 to create a unified digital health ecosystem. ACCESS Health studied the adoption of ABDM-enabled systems in 108 facilities to identify challenges. To address these, an ABDM wrapper was developed to ensure system integration, data translation, and patient data management with minimal changes to existing systems.
Driving seamless digital health integration and accurate patient data management through advanced system connectivity.
Provide APIs for system-level integration with ABDM
Facilitate the seamless adoption of digital health systems
Maintain accurate patient data management through a Master Patient Index.
API Integration and Data Management
The project focused on developing an ABDM wrapper to facilitate system-level integration, ensuring compatibility, data translation, and secure patient data management across various healthcare platforms.
Seamless integration of outdated systems with modern digital health technologies.
Improved data consistency and quality across systems through structured data conversion.
Maintained accurate and consistent patient data through a comprehensive Master Patient Index.
Supported market innovation by driving the development and adoption of advanced digital health solutions.
