Initiative for Workforce Health and Wellbeing

Disease prevention and health promotion are essential for building healthy communities, improving well-being, and reducing healthcare burdens. Investing in prevention is cost-effective and encourages healthy behaviors, ultimately leading to greater resilience and economic growth. TSRTC, serving millions daily with over 40,000 employees, aimed to set an example in the public transport sector by improving staff health through a comprehensive assessment. TSRTC partnered with ACCESS Health to enhance the health of its workforce by implementing a comprehensive disease prevention and health promotion program. This initiative aimed to create a Population Health Management (PHM) program, improve employee health, and establish TSRTC as a model in the public transport sector.
