As new treatments and pharmaceutical innovations emerge, it becomes increasingly important to optimize the public procurement system to effectively deliver these advancements to the broader population. In this context, the Organisation of Pharmaceutical Producers of India (OPPI), in collaboration with ACCESS Health International, is undertaking a research study to explore potential collaborations between OPPI member companies and the Indian government. This study is particularly focused on enhancing access to newer treatments through the public procurement system, which plays a critical role in the availability of essential medicines across the country.
