Strengthening Health Markets and Expanding Family Planning Access in India

Frontier Health Markets (FHM) Engage is a global initiative aimed at enhancing health markets to address supply-side gaps and consumer needs, particularly focusing on family planning (FP) and other health services worldwide. In India, the project targets several key objectives, including fostering private sector involvement in FP to fulfill India’s commitments for FP 2030, enhancing access to a wider range of contraceptives for young people, and promoting the uptake of sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services among adolescents and youth. ACCESS Health, as a network implementation partner, plays a crucial role in executing key components of the program in India through capacity-building efforts at the national level to enable effective stewardship of market initiatives across multiple states.

ACCESS Health serves as a crucial network implementation partner for the FHM Engage Program in India, executing key components of the program across multiple states.

It spearheads capacity-building efforts aimed at the national level, enhancing the ability of market actors and stakeholders to effectively steward market initiatives.

It oversees all FHM Engage activities within the country, ensuring alignment with the program’s objectives and facilitating the successful implementation of family planning and health market initiatives.
