Landscape Study Mapping Cancer Care Financing Across Asia

ACCESS Health conducted a landscape study across eight countries in Asia to understand and map the innovative funding mechanisms used to strengthen health financing systems for cancer care. The study aimed to identify effective approaches to improve funding, access, and coverage for cancer services.

The project involved a detailed landscape study and secondary research across eight countries in Asia, examining 208 funding mechanisms. The study identified 40 innovative approaches that either enhanced existing arrangements or adopted new methods to reduce gaps in funding, access, and coverage for cancer treatment.
