Assessing Financial Protection in Kerala’s Health Insurance Scheme

This project aims to evaluate the financial impact of healthcare access under the KASP-PMJAY scheme by assessing Out-of-Pocket Expenditure (OOPE) and Catastrophic Health Expenditure (CHE) among beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries providing insights into the financial burden faced by these groups.

Assessing financial protection and expenditure impacts of the KASP-PMJAY scheme on beneficiaries compared to non-beneficiaries.

Assess Out-of-Pocket Expenditure (OOPE) levels among KASP-PMJAY beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries.

Evaluate the incidence of Catastrophic Health Expenditure (CHE) among KASP-PMJAY beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries.

Evaluate the financial protection provided by the KASP-PMJAY scheme.
