Urban Health and Wellness Centers (UHWCs) are hindered by ambiguous roles and fragmented services, affecting their effectiveness.

Urban vs. Rural Health

The less structured nature of urban health systems compared to rural ones leads to significant service delivery gaps.

Awareness and Accessibility

There are substantial challenges in raising awareness and ensuring access to urban healthcare services.

Awareness and Accessibility

Persistent concerns regarding healthcare quality and inadequate resources, including land and infrastructure, are prevalent.

Integration and Coordination

Integrating AYUSH practitioners and other doctors, along with improving interdepartmental coordination, presents significant challenges.

Community Trust

A deficit in trust underscores the need for enhanced community engagement.

Private Sector and Data Sharing

There is a necessity to boost private sector involvement and improve data sharing and reporting mechanisms.

Innovative Approaches
